I just picked up a book called "SUPER SPORTSCARS" , Copyright 1991. It has a
couple of photos of a Delorean with right hand drive. A close up of the
interior shows the ashtray, cig lighter and clock on the right hand side of
the center console, which means the negative was not reversed when printed
in the book. Another photo of the same car shows dark gray wheels, antana in
right front fender and smooth hood. Does anyone have any info on R H drive
cars? How many were made? For what market? I thought all the cars made were
for U.S. or Canada only. I'm just curious about the backround of these cars.

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO . . .
John DeLorean. The creator of the ill-fated, gull-wing sports car that bears
his name is still important in the legal system if not the automobile
industry. A U.S. District Court jury in Detroit ordered the former GM golden
boy to pay $10.3 million in legal fees and damages to his lawyers.

DeLorean has to pay $5 million in punitive damages and $5.3 million in
compensatory damages to Morganroth & Morganroth, the law firm which defended
him in a drawn-out civil fraud, racketeering and bankruptcy case in the
1980's. Morganroth didn't defend DeLorean in his notorious drug case. The
attorney in that trial, Howard Weitzman, reportedly made DeLorean pay as he
went and is said to have wound up with much of DeLorean's property and other
assets.
