ADMIN NOTE: Evidently there was a distribution problem of some sort Friday. Soem people got the issue, some didn't. I am trying to narrow down the particular problem, but until I do, I will put forth an extra effort to keep the web pages updated. Once again, the DMC-News is distributed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday except holidays. If you haven't received your issue by the following morning, please let me know and I will resend your copy. 

This list will be switch to a majordomo server approximately the first of February. It will remain in digest form only (for now) but I will continue to maintain the web pages as an archive and  source for other useful information. Watch this space for more details.

I was wondering if the DeLorean has any racing history at all.  I've 
never heard of any but thought it cant hurt to ask.

Has anyone ever considered somehow re-engineering the door glass to 
convert the large stationary glass portion to a removable panel(something 
like a T-Top).  I,for one,like cruising with the wind blowing in the open 
windows of the car.  I have heard many people complain about the 
closed-in feeling you get when inside the DeLorean.

    (just something to talk about!)
                                      

Also, I am looking for a DeLorean familiar mechanic in the Northern 
Virginia-Washington D.C. area.  Any help would be appreciated.
