I had to have my oil pan removed from my car and it involved
loosening the motor mounts and lifting the engine slightly so
the pan could be removed. As you know, the pan practically
rests on the frame crossmember, and there is no practical way
of getting it off without gaining a little clearance first.

RE: Converting a DeLorean to RHD
The NEW DeLorean book by Brooklands (1977-1995 Gold Portfolio) has about
twice
as much info as last years version(1977-1993). It includes some info on
RHD
DeLoreans. The factory was working on a RHD model for 84 introduction. It
seams there were 36 made but only about 8 still survive in England. It
required approx 50 to 60 different parts to make the conversion. When
KAPAC
got what was left of the factory, I dont know if it included any of these
special parts. If your interested in making the swap, a call to Jerry at
KAPAC might be helpful.

I have been trying to get in touch with the webmaster of the DeLorean
home page to lower the pric of my car. I had it in for $17,500 and
would like it lowered to $16,000. I seem to remember that Dave
Takeuchi was moving or something like that, and that someone else
would be taking over. Does anyone know what the deal is, and who I
can reach to have the price adjusted?
Thanks,
-Andy

OK guys (and any gals out there) here's the situation:
My non-running DeLorean (bad fuel pump) has been sitting for about five
weeks and I just discovered that the battery is completely dead. I
inserted
the key and nothing worked. The gauges didn't move even a millimeter so it
must be 100% drained, even though it was about 90-100% charged five weeks
ago.
I just wanted to drain your people's brains for ideas on what could be the
cause for this, and if anyone has experienced this before?
I suppose I should chalk it up to another of the half-million problems
experienced by DeLoreans.
As always, any help/advice will be greatly appreciated!!!! :)

I had my defrost switch rebuilt by Jerry at Kapac about two years ago.
It has been fine ever since. I think he charged something like $35 for
it.
