Subject: ADMIN NOTE/Subscriber Count
The list seems to be running a great deal more smoothly and I recently
was able to update the back issues so this train seems to just about be
completely back on track. If anyone ever has any questions about the
DeLorean Mailing List and how I operate it, please feel free to contact
me directly at mikasa(AT)goodnet.com.
As of May 8, the "live" version of the DeLorean Mailing List has 16
subscribers, and the "digest" version has 233 subscribers.
I would also like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone
who has made the DeLorean Mailing List as susccessful as it is - simply
by subscribing you've participated and I thank you. When you've posted a
question or a comment, you've participated and I thank you for that also.

Subject: CFI - Table of Contents
Ok all, just to proof that I have been making progress (instead of
tinkering with my car ALL the time), here is a proposed Table of Contents
for the Common Faults List. No solutions yet, just a list of items I plan
to include at this point. If anything thinks I have missed important
items,
just email me and I'll add them to my list.
Also, a number of you have written excellent explanations on various
problems and their fixes. I will be sending messages to those people in
the
next few weeks requesting permission to quote their passages in the FAQ
itself. I hope none of you are shy about being "published" again.

$8,000 for a new frame?! Maybe it's time for a trade-in for a "D" in
better shape. Oh well.

the
Delorean home page up on my server. I don't know what happened to Mr.
Takeuchi, but we need the page back up and running. If there are any
objections feel free to e-mail me. Also if you want to post any
information
send it to that same address with the subject DMC web page. Send any

That is $8,000 for a brand new STAINLESS STEEL frame. The left-over stock
of original ordinary steel frames is priced at about $1,500 I hear.

Royce, Jag's Lamborghinis etc, feel like the poor relative.

Just a note to all of the DeLorean owners and fans of "Back to the =

One of the seven original DeLoreans from the "Back to the Future" film
series is on display in Tunica, Mississippi at the Hollywood Casinos, =

with a lot of memorabilia from the films, including several =

Subject: I've been lurking around...
Well, I have been lurking around this mailing list for a while now, and
I
have learned a lot about DeLoreans... But now I have some questions. I am
planning on purchasing a DeLorean in the next few months(have to save a
little more money though) and I want to know what should I look for in the
car?
There is a DeLorean for sale near my house - '83 Automatic, outside
looks like it is in Very good shape, the interior has a scuff on the
passenger seat, and it has just over 10,000 miles on it... at a rough
estimate what is this car worth? (I think the dealership said they were
asking 'around $20,000' ) is that a fair price?
I've been reading the back issues of this list, and I think I have a
pretty good idea what to look for, but is there anything in particular
I should look for? (as far as problem areas, etc.)
Thanks - Gonzo
