Is there a alternator that will work without any major modification on the
electrical system?
I have a Twin Turbo, so the alternator is not in the stock position. I plan
on adding a high power stereo system to the car this year, and would really
like to get some more amperage out of the alternator.

On the same topic, has anyone put any interesting sound systems in their
Delorean? I have some experience working with car audio, I used to
sell/install it.

My plan is to build a box for the back shelf, and keep it below the
window (I like to see out of it). Looks like the box should have enough
internal volume to fit two 12 inch kicker "Solobarics". Kicker claims that they work in half the space as normal woofers. I also want to put some standard 6 inch mids, and some surface mount tweeters in the same box. (I am not going to use the stock 4X10 locations in the back). The front, I am just going to put some good quality 4 inch in the stock dash locations.

I would like to mount the amplifiers to the box, but I may not have the
space... Space it a real problem in this car! I may have to put them in
the front storage, but I don't want to run all of that wire around the car.

Any tips on getting the center console out? (I have a 5 Speed) and
cutting the plastic for the radio to fit?

Michael, I sent mail directly, with no response..

Can I get a copy of the schematics?

Thanks,
Marc

At long last, I have found a person who has the books, can and will work
on the Delorean OEM ASI radio. My thanks to Stephen Wynn (DeLorean One) for

Hi Rene,
Three possibilities for your overheating neither of which has to do with
runnung out of gas,
        1. check your thermostat, may not be opening correctly
        2. are your cooling fans running?
        3. there may be air in your cooling system, since it is a vacuum
system you may have to bleed the air out.
Best regards,
