Yes, most collectors will want it as stock and immaculate as
possible, unless they fancy refurbishing it themselves. I know, as thought
the same way when I went looking for my D-car...
After a while, I came to the realization that I will not be selling
the car for a profit, and decided to design it around me....Do what *I*
want to it. Noone will have to worry about it, as noone will ever own it
but me...

Oh, by no means. I personally happen to think painting a DeLorean
is sacriligeous...others might feel that the changes I'm making destroy the
vehicle...But, like I said...I'm the only one that will ever own it, so
there's no reason for anyone else to be upset about it.
And yes...It's my everyday vehicle...(But with class)...and I've
tried to make it look great, retain it's appeal as a DeLorean, completely
functional, relaxing when needed, and exciting all other times...

Yoshi,
Sorry to read about your accidents, Robert Lambrock coordinator of the
Belfast Chapter sometimes has hard to find Delorean bits. I can ask him if he
has the bits you mentioned although the cost of shipping from Northern Ireland
could be high.

Also, the August 1995 issue of Hemmings Motor News has ad for a left front
