I know where you can get a couple of 1981 Deloreans for under 14,000.00 each.
If you are interested or know anybody interested, contact Helen at
615-758-8182. They won't last long though. I don't know about their
condition but Helen does. Please pass this along to anybody that you think
might be interested. Thanks

Subject: original stock condition

Hi,
this is my first time in this posting group as it is the first time I own
a Delorean. I bought it six weeks ago and it is in very good shape. But
most important: it is in its original condition. Still the '81 radio,
six cylinders and - most important - not painted.

Why should I buy a painted DeLoarean? People would confuse it (here in
Germany) with a Renault Fuego or a VW Scirocco and whenever I open the
doors, they would ask, if I built that myself.

What makes the car a better cookie over the othe DeLoreans? I am proud
that it is still original after 14 years! The appearance of this car
in its 'color' is just great. All other cars are allready red or green or ...

Looking forward to hear much more from you and learn about my car.

Matt.

Does anyone here have an experience with the turbo-charged or twin
turbo-charged DeLoreans?

I'm hoping to fly out to Milwaukee soon to look at a twin turbo
model. The dealer says it was modified when the car was purchased in
New York. Are there any other shops specializing in turbo-charging
DeLoreans other than PJ Grady and Turbo Manifold in New York?

Does the non owner feel that he is going to see another DeLorean in his
rear view mirror. He has a lot to learn about "our" car and the concept
of collectibility ... guess that he would convert a Stanley Steamer to
diesel. Bye the way! Why do lovers of "rap" "rock" and other offensive
noise feel that evryone around them wants to listen to it ? Crank it
down or raise your windows. Oh well ! Guess that I'm in for it now.
Ok! I'll have Rob do the repairs if he will pick it up with his flat
bed. Regards to all.

Does anyone know of any interchangable parts for the Wiper Blades?

Depart Anderson 3:50pm

Arrive Sacramento 6:15pm Overnight

Thur. Sept. 28

Arrive Bakersfield 11:50am Re-fuel, lunch

As you can see, I have not completed all the little details for the last leg of
the trip, but I will be ironing out these details in the next few days. If
someone would like to join up, I can adjust my plans to accommodate.
